If you have received a study or training loan from the Australian Government it is important to keep up to date with the compulsory repayment thresholds and rates. The compulsory rates for your loan increases based on your income for the financial year. Be sure to let your employer know on your Tax File Number Declaration that you have a study or training Loan.

The current minimum earnings threshold to start repaying these loans for the 2023-24 financial year is $51,550.
